This evening was the bomb. Sorry, we had to. Quick jokes and audience games took people’s minds off the grey everyday for a while, and nobody left looking sad.

Who performed

Our guest was Ania Dobrydnieva, a volunteer and a really lovely singer, and she got the whole room going.

Then came “Improvisation”, a comedy show from Pavlo Osikov, an actor and author whose plays are known in our city and abroad. Anyone who fancied trying their luck on stage could join in.

How Bombik came about

There was a bomb shelter looked after by Svitlana Ostapchuk, head of a homeowners’ association. There was Denys Chyhirov, head of another association and a creative type, who suggested holding charity evenings there with donations for the army. That’s how Bombik started.

Good spirits and donations

Everyone left in a better mood and with more faith in victory: the actors, the organisers and the audience, which included guests from the Kharkiv and Kherson regions. The Kryvbas cultural front was doing its bit!

People showed their thanks with generous donations. UAH 2,205 went to volunteer Pavlo Osikov for the army’s needs.
